people who horrified themselves in ugly drawings and not forgetting you too, as one of their kind. yet proud to address to the world as buddies and laugh over how silly everyone looked in that drawing. you know you found true friends.

Random Tots...

Hmm... I was just thinking... Janelle has a 大妈，二妈，三妈 and 四妈. Jojo not in the picture hor... so who is she?? The maid? wahahaha!!


Oop. Just a random tot... hee.


Anyway Gen, 二妈 was looking through the past pictures the rest of yr Godmamassss and real mama took before and realise we were really very happy at work before. Even though we had to work very hard under that big round man, we were like family. We actually all have very different characters in our own ways but somehow, we bonded to become frens. If we uploaded one happy picture everyday from today, we still wouldn't be done by the time you are able to log on yourself to read this. That is how much fun we had as colleagues, then as frens. When we were no longer working together, I wondered if one day our own lives and own jobs will draw us further from each other. But it has been more than a year and we're all still pretty much going strong! It's Monday again tomorrow and I am just thinking how nice it would be to once again walk into the same office as these crazy pple.


In a week's time, your mama and papa will be throwing your 1st month party. This is what mama smsed to us yesterday:


"Hi god mamas! We'll be having my "baby shower" on 28th June (Sat), 11am at our place. Lunch will be catered. I know u all misses me so all must come k! =p hugs, janelle"


Heh, we certainly do miss u and mama definitely. Can't wait to gather once again cos every single outing we have, we will laugh and joke till our tummies ached and our jaw cramped. And as you embark on your life journey Gen, I wish you will find your own group of buddies and will laugh yourself silly too. Cause laughter is one of the rare things present in life as you start to grow older but it's the one thing that I hope will always be present in your life. Goodnite Gen. Here's a video of us in Shanghai. It made me laugh when I saw it again.




Remember too Gen, that friendship is like a flower which blossoms with effort and love... but once neglected, it is easy to wither and die. 四妈has been one of the most diligent ones in keeping this flower alive by organising lots of outings, so special thanks goes to her today! And to mama and all the other Godmamas, I hope that though the years, we'll never stop laughing cause every laughter is so so precious. Love u all... 二妈...

Happy Belated Papa Day to your Daddy!

Dearest little one, last sunday was fathers' day! the first time your daddy gets to officially celebrate the day!! Your mummy missed her turn this year, as you were not born yet on Mothers' Day... How sad...

Well, I being, the nice 四妈 suggested to all the mamas that we should get a little pressie for your daddy on your behalf... But slow and laggy 大妈 took too long reply, annoying 二妈 just keep giving too "exhausting" ideas, and that stingy 三妈 only want to eat free dinnersss off your daddy but dun wana return his favour.. Soooo.. in the end, we din get anythg for your daddy.. Haaahahahahaaa...

My dear JanJan, just to share with you, what a "poser" your daddy was..

Happy Belated Fathers' Day, Jason!!

Your daddy's backside looks funny! like so perky, his trousers muz be padded.. haahaa..

Now you know how "poser" your daddy can be, I want to show you how "silly" your mummy can get at times... *shake head* She impress me with her silliness sometimes...

We bought your mummy a toy yellow&red handphone (complete with ear-piece somemore), so she can "chat" with your daddy when he was outstation at that time.. So, what we did was we cropped and printed your daddy's photo, cut and pasted it onto the handphone screen! On the way to lunch the next day, I pretended that your daddy called me from Germany, so I was using the toy ear-piece talking and talking, then tell your mummy that your daddy was looking for her, your mum keep saying I bluf her I bluf her, but I can tell she kinda believed coz she took the ear-piece from me and started "talking" to your daddy.. sooo gentle, unlike the way she talks to us... =p She din realised it was fake until I took out the hp from the pouch and show it to her... Wat a silly MAMA!! hahaha.. we had a good laugh tho..



You can see there is a man who appeared from nobody and kinda spoil our plot a little... haha.. Just a little... In the background, you can hear me continuing to pretend to talk to your daddy...

twinkle twinkle little child..

jojo, when you have a baby it doesnt just impact you. it has an effect on the entire god-mas village haha. to be honest im not a very baby person but still, i will love jan like my own! so, hi jan! im your number 1 乾妈, and i actually blogged about you in my site. so i wont be doing any of those in yours. you can view those memories from HERE.

thats me and your mummy when we were in our early twenties. looking at this picture, i sort of realised time doesnt move at all until you get old enuff. and then it moves too quickly.. so as you grow older and alot more independent, please treasure yourself, your family and those who loves you. us especially!

your parents before they were married. see! your mummy very aunty-ish right? she used to be a lazy girl, dont really fancy dressing up. haha.. but your mummy is very pretty. and you takes after her, so that means you will grow to be a fair lady too! tell you another secret: your daddy always thinks he very macho, handsome, charming, etc and he is very VAIN!! ops..

your mummy pretty right?! shes not only pretty but she was the happiest bride and i shed many happy tears on their wedding night. your daddy loves your mummy very much so you must lovie them very very muchie too okay?

Janelle meets eeeeeeyore.....

U idiot 四妈... For one, pls rotate your pics before they go on. Janelle looks like she is stand-sleeping and the other mad woman is definitely not me. Anyhow, she should also be in a lying down position!

I am so tempted to start uploading your crazy pics but I am sure that will start a war. hahaha. So for Janelle's sake, shall forgive u... gib u 24 hrs to remove that floating woman. grrr...

Janelle, your 大妈actually did not want your mumi to call you Janelle cos she said pple will call you niao niao for short! hee. But now, I think we all conclude that you suit that name and Jen will be your name for short!

So anyhow, transporting you back to 03 June 2008...

三妈 had already gone to see you in the day cos she had a hot date that evening, so that's what you looked like when she was there in the afternoon. (Ref to post 1!)

Rest of us normal pple, who have to work normal hours here in normal Singapore, could only come and see you after normal work...

Yes, you were sleeping soundly when we first came... learn to close your mouth k... more ladylike...

Then yr nappy got wet, so they changed you! Here, we heard you cry for the first time... sorry I had to show a naked you.... just for awhile then I quick quick cover up le. Hee...

Aside from your cry, u can hear mumi getting something a drink, mumi takin her first lesson here on alcohol swabs, 四妈 looking silly again (at tis pt u will realise nothing new le la.. ）大妈tryin to get u to hold her finger,mumi intro-ing all the godmamas, mumi doin a tame version of an old stunt, 四妈making fun of man who walked into the wrong room and 四妈 tellin mumi her replacement "cannot make it". Many happenings in a short while! Haha

Then you looked at us, trying to put a face to the voices you have heard ever so often during the last 9months you were in mumi's tumi. =)

A monkey face was made when you realise your 四妈 looks worse than she sounds.

Then you looked at your 大妈quietly, wondering if you were to cry, would she scold you...

Oh you angelic face! Hope you always stay this way!!

Then of cos you saw your 二妈 and you were so hair-py! Cos all of us have hair that weighs more than half our body weight! Welcome to the club!!

You are a bright one.. looking so alert at all of us!

Then eeyore came...

And closer he came...

And becos you looked so adorable, he thought you were piglet and wanted to play with ya...

You did that eye rolling/sideway glance thing twice.... which got us all tickled and laughing at how smart and cute you are...

You caught sight of eeyore and I guess you din really like him cos this was you next..

Mumi was close to tears when you couldn't stop crying.. so were all your other 妈s. We promise not to do that again... =p we'll wait till you are older!

Here, mumi tries to comfort u, then smiles at the camera, then big round man suggests you are hungry - to which 大妈 insists u r not and that it was 二妈 and 四妈's fault for making you cry... which of cos u know is not true.

Anyway, the nurse came, scooped you with one swift move and you stopped. You look so angelic once again, yawned and looked at mumi with your big sleep eyes. awwww....

Your crying spree broke all our hearts in that 5min but proved that even a vulgarity scolding 大妈 can gently accepted your cries as a gift from mother nature. hee. lucky u!

Oh Jen, if you are wondering who is that big round man with us, well... we'll tell you real soon in our future posts! Good nite precious one. We hope both you and mumi are doing well. Be good yeah. So mumi can come out to play with us soon cos we all kinda miss her... =) Nite Jen! (while waitin for the videos to upload, i already fell aslp... haha. shall go bac to slp an hour more before returnin to normal work! zzz...)

Our Pretty Baby

Hi little pretty one!! *waves* I'm your 四妈! You are such a pretty little thing, you know? I guess that's coz you are a carbon copy of your mamii!! The first time we saw you, u were only 2 days old, and yet you are able to "interact" with us already! The sideward glances you gave us when we annoy you with little eeyore was unforgettable.

And though you were still sooo young, you already knew how to make great choices! You were sleeping when we first walk into the ward to see you, but within minutes, you were wide awake, all ready to meet us!! ehem.. I wont say the same for boring lian-ish 三妈!

When 大妈, 二妈 and 四妈 visits
大: "She is the prettiest baby I've ever seen"
二: "Wah, so much hair, I think her hair got 2kg"

J: "keke.. they are so fascinating! I can't keep my eyes off them"

Anywayz, I wanted to warn you.. dun ever ever believe a word your 二妈 (shir-ma) says.. she is such a liar! she wasnt very honest with you, you know. She is definitely not the normal one of the lot, coz there is no normality in our group.. zzz.. And she has "conveniently" forgotten to point out she is the 白吃鬼.. Wanna know how 白吃 she is? Take a look at this........

I'm sure the rest of the 妈s have more 白吃 photos to show you if you ask...

Simply can't wait for you to grrrooowwww grrrooowww grow up and we can share all our silly doings... For now, be good, and grow strong (i wonder if you eat like your mum.. scarily lots)..

Intro!

Oki... Blogging is so so foreign to me. Think it's more fun reading other people's blogs... hmm... Ok, first up. This blog was created for the JCs. Actually it got a little confusing in the end. Haha...

So here are the objectives:
1) Janelle to read when she grows up... so she knows mumi hung out with way cool pple

2) For Mumi Jojo to update on Janelle's status cos we prob wont be seeing her much

3) To document Janelle's growth

4) To prove that 40yr olds do blog...when we eventually get there

and... anymore? oh well, anything and everything la. Just as long as JC is in it. Haha.

So Janelle, here is a brief intro. All 5 of us used to work with mumi.

This one was first to the co. She is Liz, aka 肮脏鬼。

She was named that cos she likes to stick her foot in pple's face and her face on lampposts.

Next was me, who joined in Jan 2006, a little more than 2yrs before you arrived on earth... of cos, noone expected your arrival then! I, of cos, am the most normal one.

Then your mumi's long time fren came on board... she is the JacJac, d 麻烦鬼. You will soon know why.

Next, 麻烦鬼brought in this one, who is reali an ah lian on the inside... duno if ah lians still exist in 20yrs time. But if they dont, just meet up with one k. She is Ah Da, the 假凶鬼!!

Then mumi came on board... Mumi is the luosuo 鬼. And lastly, the 糊涂鬼!! oops...

K Janelle, there is so much I wana tell ya but am too sleepy now, so you just have to wait for more k... Will wana show you my fav foto with mumi, one of the first grp shots we took, a dumb video of mumi insisting we take her, a foto of her with decayed teeth, fotos of us being at the hospital with mumi when u first landed... and many more. So tune in soon. Your other godmas will probably come in and fill you in on more of our happening times with mama. Till then, suckle away, be good and we all love ya!

Hi everyone!!

Being the first to step foot onto Janelle's blog, I shall give a brief introduction to this little precious bundle of joy. Born on the 3rd of june 2008 at 6.43 pm (correct me if I am wrong), this little gem weighed a healthy 2.86kg then. She'd probably has gained a few more grams by now. =)

She was sleeping soundly, wrapped in what looked like layers and layers of towels when i saw her. I was so fascinated by her small and fragile physique that when jo asked if i wanted to carry Janelle for a photo together, i rejected her straight in the face, coz she was too tiny and fragile for my comfort. Was afraid i would twist her neck and break her limbs. Anyway, we still managed to get a photo together.
Was taking quite a few of shots of janelle with my camera, but i realised it ALL looked the same coz she was sleeping and was not moving an inch, only the occasional batting of her left eyelid while her right eye remains shut. With my camera in my hands on standby mode to capture any of her cute little moments, here's what i got!! quite an accomplishment I must say. hehe. .
